Mice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only a couple of weeks ago we got pet class MICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they are so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so cute.

Stella and Dave were the first people to see them because they got to go get them from Natureland.

When they first got to our classroom Isi, Hannah, Evie, Kezia, Ella and I were waiting in it and suddenly Evie yelled out "DAVE'S HERE!!!!" so all of us rushed to the door to say hello to the mice.

We put them on the table and they were in a little mouse sized house crouched in the corner all together.

Everyone wanted to touch, feel and hold them so we sat in a circle and passed them around.

We got two females and one male.

the first female is a long furred white with black spots and the second female is a short furred plain brown one.
The male is a white one with brown spots.

Pet Mice

Yyyaaaaayyyyy!!  We got our mice and they are so so so so so so so so cute.  We got three -  two females and one male.

The male is called Flip and the two females are called Inky and Oats.

Inky is white with black spots, Oats is a brown short furred one and Flip is a white one with brown spots.

skiing

Our whole class is making rubberband cars but I'm the only one that isn't making one.

I'm only not making one because I was away skiing for a week in Wanaka and Wanaka's 11 hours away from here. 
And this is what I was doing in the meantime  -  I was at a mountain called `Cardrona`.

At Cardrona we stayed at  a little unit ON THE MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!

Every day we got a ski lesson; I was in the yellow group which was 1 down from the highest group.

The yellow group was called `parallel perfecters'.

After the last day of skiing we had to do the 11 hour trip all over again :(

About Me

Hi, my name is Joey and I am 10 years old. I've got 5 friends called Isi, Kezia, Hannah, Evie and Ella.

Evie is my cousie but the others are just friends.

My brother is the only one in my family that comes from Australia.  The rest of us were born right here in New Zealand.  I've got lots of other cousins in Austalia but I hardly ever see them,  but my cousins called Mai and Sasha are coming over in December !!!!!!  I can't wait!!!!
I like sports.  I expecially enjoy rippa rugby, netball and soccer.  And I don't mind doing a cross country now and then- although they are not on my 'Things That I LOVE  Doing' list ;)
I think that mostly covers my 'About Me' for now.
